Description
NOTE: THIS IS A PDF PATTERN THAT YOU WILL PRINT AND TRACE ONTO YOUR BACKING!!! (The pattern on linen is available as a separate listing. )
I’ve had wonderful feedback since I first hooked this personal pattern, and after many requests I’ve decided to share it.
The heart is a universal symbol for love. We have the power put a lot of love out there, all around us. Its easy to love those that are nice to us but also very important to love those that do not know how to love. They need it the most as they probably lost the power of its effect or never knew the power of love.
Elle has become a symbol of mine as she represents the divine feminine is all of us, both males and females. More about Elle below.
I also have this design available on linen ready to be hooked in a separate listing.
This pattern, when traced on your backing, measures 17 x 11 inches PLUS whatever size border you wish to add to the backing on which you will hook. I encourage you to add a generous 3.5 – 4 inch border all around to make it easier to insert in your hoop or place on your frame to hook. The pattern will print on 4 pages that will need to be joined together before tracing it on your backing.
The finished piece can be seen in the photo attached to this listing. I’ve hooked this piece several times now and have shared photos of all of them on Facebook and on Instagram (both under the name of Lonely Oak Alpacas). So please do check them out to further inspire you. Use the best yarns and wool cloth you have. Even add silk cloth if you have it. Choose colours that bring light and happiness to you.
Once your piece is completed, simply fold the border to the backside and stitch it in place. (Many videos are available online).
You can choose to hang your finished piece on the wall or turn it into a cushion. You might even want to make a frame for it.
This PDF pattern will be sent to you as soon as payment is processed. You will have to print it and trace it onto your backing (linen, rug warp or burlap).
We also have the pattern already on linen, so be sure to check out that listing if this is something you ae looking for.
Be sure your email address is added to your information when you place your order. Remember to check your Junk Mail Folder if you do not see the pattern in your Inbox.
This pattern was designed by myself (Lise Marleau Nesbitt). Please do not share it or sell it to anyone. It’s only fair that you respect this request. They can purchase their own pattern from me.
Please share your completed hooking piece on either Facebook or on Instagram by tagging us at Lonely Oak Alpacas. I would love to see it!
Returns on this purchase will not be accepted for obvious reasons.
Her name is Elle, she represents the Divine Feminine.
The following has been written by EMILY TORRES and you can read the whole article HERE
Feminine energy is connected with fertility, but again, it doesn’t need to be reduced to human reproduction. Growth, whether it’s spiritual, physical, or emotional, celebrates a feminine energy in that we give life to something that was not there before.
The divine feminine is the spiritual concept that there exists a feminine counterpart to the patriarchal and masculine worship structures that have long dominated organized religions. The divine feminine extends well beyond one belief system, and instead can be used as a spiritual lens to balance our perspective.
The feminine and the masculine are not singular and siloed energies—instead, they exist in balance. For example in ancient Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang are a balance between receptive and productive, introspective and extrospective, feminine and masculine. But the two energies depend on one another—note how the symbol doesn’t cut harshly in a straight line down the middle. The black and white shapes swirl into and out of each other in harmony, changing, flowing, and making room for every possible version of balance.
